What to bring
- Your own laptop - either Windows or Mac is okay
- Your charger / power supply - because it's a long day
- Ableton Live 11 Suite demo installed - please install before coming, you won't have time to do it when the lessons start https://www.ableton.com/en/trial/
- Windows users - for better audio download the ASIO4ALL driver http://www.asio4all.org/
- A good set of headphones - preferably one that has good bass and covers your ears.
- A USB drive / thumbdrive - just in case you want to transfer files quickly
- If you are using a laptop which only has USB-C slots (e.g. new Macbooks or some Windows laptops) please bring
- your adaptor to connect to regular USB (in case you want to transfer files)
- your adaptor to connect to HDMI (so you can view on large screen)
Is this workshop suitable for newbies or experienced musicians?
- Yes to both!
- If you are new to recording, you will learn from the basics
- If you are already experienced in recording, you are very welcome to bring your own music to work on and to discuss
